Classic Carne Molida (Ground Beef) Taco Filling

This recipe is for a classic ground beef/carne molida taco meat.


1lb Ground Beef
3TB Chile Revival’s Hatch Chile Blend
1/2 cup warm water
Diced onions (optional)
1/2 TB Cooking oil


Heat a skillet over medium-high heat
When your skillet is hot, add your oil.
If you are using diced onions, add them and cook for a few minutes until they start to soften.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
Drain the fat and return to the stove.
Add the Hatch Chile Blend and the warm water, stir well
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Fill tortillas with beef and whatever else you’re in the mood for.
Celebrate. Eat Tacos.
