Chicken tacos anyone?
1lb Chicken breast
3TB Chile Revival’s Hatch Chile Blend
1/3 cup warm water
1/2 TB Cooking oil
Cut your chicken breasts into thirds. (Unless you like long shreds of pulled chicken when done)
Put your chicken, water and oil in a crock pot. Set to low.
Cook chicken until soft (usually 2-4 hours depending on the crock pot)
Add the Hatch Chile blend.
Continue cooking on low for 2.5 hours. Stirring often.
Shred chicken using two forks.
Rejoice. Eat Chicken Tacos.
Chile Revival tip: I like my chicken taco filling moist….not wet. During cooking, I will sometimes leave the lid off of the crock pot to let some water escape. If your chicken seems too wet when done, give it some extra time with the lid off. But keep a watchful eye, don’t let it get too dry.
